He played for the NBAs Chicago Bulls in 1984 where he quickly rose to fame entertaining crowds with his talent. Ben Christopher Cohen (MBE) was born on September 14th 1978 in Northampton, England. Now aged 31, Height 6 ft 2 in and weighing in at 16 st 3 lb, Ben currently plays for Guiness Premiership side Sale Sharks and is also a regular part of the English national squad and plays in the position of wing, or outside centre for both sides. Nicked name Big Ben, Ben's uncle is known world wide as the 1966 right back England world cup winner George Cohen. When he was 17 he joined Northampton Saints and made his first team debut against Treorchy in the 1996/97 season, following which his name was rarely left off the team sheet. This was until, after refusing to play for the club after being overlooked for the role of club captain in favour of Bruce Reihana, he was released from contract by Saints in September 2007 by mutual consent. Cohen had long been linked with a move away from the club and signed a deal with Brive who play in the Top 14 competition in France. In March 2009, Sale Sharks announced the capture of Cohen from Brive. With Cohen's arrival at Edgeley Park it was reported to only help revitalise his international ambitions. Cohen is the 10th-highest point scorer in England rugby history and third behind Rory Underwood and Will Greenwood in the list of all time England try scorers.

Alexander Gordon Higgins born 18 March 1949 in Belfast, best known as Alex "Hurricane" Higgins, is a retired professional snooker player from Northern Ireland, who was twice World Champion and runner-up on two occasions. Higgins is also a former World Doubles champion with Jimmy White and won the World Cup three times with the All Ireland team. Lanfranco Frankie Dettori, MBE born December 15, 1970 in Milan is an Italian horse racing jockey and celebrity. He is the son of Sardinian jockey Gianfranco Dettori, who was a prolific winner in Italy. Dettoris first experience with horses was at the age of twelve and his father bought him a Palomino pony. This had some impact on him, as he rode the horse often. When he was 13 Dettori left school to become a stable boy and apprentice jockey. The following year he went to Great Britain where he apprenticed with trainer Luca Cumani at Newmarket in 1985 and became a stable jockey soon after. In 1990 Dettori became the first teenager since Lester Piggott to ride 100 winners in one season. His first win came at the age of 16 in Turin in November 1986, while his first victory in Britain was the following June. Further success followed, with numerous winners in Group 1 races. On September 28, 1996 he achieved the feat of winning all seven races on a single day at Ascot Racecourse. Dettori is the retained jockey for the Godolphin racing stables, and is well-known for his distinctive "flying dismounts". He quit his position as a team captain on the BBC quiz A Question Of Sport in 2003, when he was apparently stung by a question from a participant as to when he retired from riding. Since that time he has completely rededicated himself to riding. He was rewarded for his new found dedication by becoming the British Champion Jockey in 2004. On December 29, 2000 he received an honorary MBE.

Andrew Gavin Hastings, OBE born 3 January 1962 is a former Scotland rugby union player. He is frequently considered one of the best, if not the best, rugby player to come out of Scotland. His nickname is Big Gav. Hastings was born in Edinburgh. He has played for Watsonians, London Scottish, Cambridge University, Scotland and the British and Irish Lions and was one of the outstanding rugby union players of his generation, winning 61 caps for Scotland, 20 of which as captain. He played fullback, and captained the Lions on the tour to New Zealand in 1993 after playing in all three tests in the 1989 tour to Australia. Former national coach Ian Mc Geechan said of him. He is widely considered one of the outstanding players of the game, and is hugely respected by his peers. He was inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame in 2003, and the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame. In sporting lists, he is often named as the greatest Scottish rugby player of all time. On the 30th of August 2007 he was announced as the chairman of the "New" Edinburgh professional rugby club.

Jason Leonard OBE born Barking, London, 14 August 1968, also known as "The Fun Bus", is an English former rugby union prop forward who held the world record for winning the most international caps until 2005, when it was surpassed by Australia's scrum half George Gregan. He also held the record for total international appearances when his five caps with the British and Irish Lions were included until 17 June 2006, when it was overtaken by Gregan. Leonard has 119 caps 114 for England to Gregans 139 with Australia, but Leonards record as the world's most capped forward still stands. As an England player, Leonard won the highest international accolades possible Grand Slams 1991, 1992, 1995 and 2003 and the 2003 Rugby World Cup. He also won a British and Irish Lions Test series on the 1997 tour of South Africa. His lengthy career straddled both the amateur and professional eras and he had a job as a carpenter. He began playing for his home club, Barking and his school teams as a youth, and as his playing talents became recognised, interest was shown by London club Saracens, where he later moved. Later still, he moved to Harlequins, where he stayed until his professional retirement in May 2004, making a total of 219 appearances and ending on a winning note as his team won the European Parker Pen Challenge Cup. He would have made a far greater number of club appearances if it had not been for the constant international demands of England and the British and Irish Lions.

William John Heaton "Will" Greenwood, MBE born 20 October 1972 in Blackburn, Lancashire is a former English rugby union player. He was educated at Stonyhurst Saint Mary's Hall, where his mother taught mathematics until 2007. His father, Dick Greenwood, was assistant bursar at Stonyhurst College where he also coached rugby with Brian Ashton and Sedbergh School. He played in the centres, mainly at inside-centre, although he was able to play at outside centre. However, he always wore the No. 13 shirt, this because of superstition. He played his club rugby for the Harlequins, having also played for Preston Grasshoppers, Waterloo and Leicester Tigers. He graduated with a BA in Economics from Hatfield College, Durham in 1994. In 2005 Greenwood was injured for the Six Nations, but was selected for the British and Irish Lions tour to New Zealand, his third Lions tour. He replaced Brian O'Driscoll just two minutes into the first test against New Zealand and also played in the third test. In 2006, after 55 England English rugby union caps and 31 tries he announced his retirement at the end of the 2006 season and he currently works as an analyst for Sky Sports and regularly appears on 'The Rugby Club' and live premiership matches. During the 2007 Rugby World Cup, Greenwood was employed by ITV as an analyst for live matches.

She and King each won 20 Wimbledon titles, an all time record. Navratilova is one of just three women to have accomplished a career Grand Slam in singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles called the Grand Slam "boxed set". She holds the open era record for most singles titles 167 and doubles titles 177. She recorded the longest winning streak in the open era 74 consecutive matches and three of the six longest winning streaks in the women's open era. Navratilova, Margaret Court, and Maureen Connolly share the record for the most consecutive Grand Slam singles titles six. Navratilova reached 11 consecutive Grand Slam singles finals, second all time to Steffi Graf's 13. In women's doubles, Navratilova and Pam Shriver won 109 consecutive matches and won all four Grand Slam titles in 1984. They also tied Louise Brough Clapp's and Margaret Osborne duPont's record of 20 Grand Slam women's doubles titles as a team.

Anthony Peter McCoy MBE, born 4 May 1974, more commonly known as A.P. McCoy or Tony McCoy, is a Northern Irish horse racing jockey, widely regarded, and based on his career wins, as the finest jump jockey to date. Having recorded his first win at age 17 in 1992, by 2009 he had ridden over 3,000 winners and been named British jump racing Champion Jockey every year since 1995,6. His winners included the prestigious Cheltenham Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase, King George VI Chase and most recently, the 2010 Grand National, at his fifteenth attempt. He was awarded the MBE in 2003. McCoy beat Richards' record of 269 winners in a season on Valfonic at Warwick on 2 April 2002 he went on to end the campaign on 289. McCoy soon achieved a new high of 289 winners, and on 27 August 2002, at Uttoxeter, his victory on Mighty Mantefalco meant he had surpassed Richard Dunwoody's record of all time jumps winners and was now the leading jumps rider of all time. On 3 October 2006 McCoy became the first jump jockey to ride 2,500 winners. McCoy rode his 3000th winner at Plumpton on the Nicky Henderson trained Restless D'Artaix in the Tyser & Co Beginners Chase on 9 February 2009. Restless D'Artaix was sent off a 13-8 Favourite for the race. McCoy has gone on to win 3000 winners and says he never stops dreaming of the day he'll reach 4000.

Tony Dobbin born 1 May 1972 is a retired Northern Irish National Hunt jockey who rode mainly in Great Britain. He rode the winner of the Grand National on Lord Gyllene in 1997 and won over 1,200 races during his career in the saddle. He was the regular stable jockey for Nicky Richards. He retired from racing on Thursday, 10 April, 2008 riding the winner of his final race, Ballyvoge, at Carlisle Racecourse. He plans to assist his wife, Rose Davidson, training racehorses from 2009.

Jason Thorpe Robinson OBE born 30 July 1974 in Leeds, West Yorkshire is an English former international rugby union and rugby league footballer of the 1990s and 2000s. He is of Scottish and Jamaican descent. Playing at wing or fullback, in total he won fifty-one rugby union international test caps for England and in rugby league he won twelve caps for Great Britain and seven for England. Throughout his career Robinson was noted for his acceleration. On 25 February 2009 it was announced that Robinson had agreed a contract to return to Sale Sharks as Head Coach from the end of the 2008-09 season replacing Kingsley Jones who moves upstairs to fill the vacancy left by the departing Frenchman Philippe Saint-Andre. Robinson started his rugby league career in 1991 at Hunslet, a club that plays in South Leeds. Despite being offered a contract by Leeds, he stuck by his side, as it would have meant leaving at an inconvenient time. He was later rewarded by a contract with Wigan who went on to dominate British rugby league.

Christie is the only British man to win a gold medal in the 100m at all four major competitions: the Olympic Games and the World, Commonwealth, and European championships.
He was the first European to break the 10 second barrier in the 100m and he still holds the British record in the event. He is a former European record holder in the 60m, 100m and 4 x 100m relay events. With 23 major championship medals and 10 gold medals he is the most decorated British male athlete. Christie's career and standing in athletics have unfortunately been seriously tainted by alleged use of performance enhancing substances.
Christie's track career was ended when he received a two year ban for taking a performance enhancing substance, although he has continually denied any wrongdoing. Since his retirement he has focused on coaching, helping Katherine Merry and Darren Campbell to Olympic medals, and his sports management company, Nuff Respect.

Daniel Darko Luger MBE (born 11 January, 1975) is an English rugby union player who plays for Rugby Nice Côte d'Azur in France. He is a former England international who was a member of the squad that won the Webb Ellis Cup in 2003. Luger made his international debut in 1998, showing promise in the autumn 1999 World Cup qualification games, one against the Netherlands. He played in the 1999 Rugby World Cup, scoring a notable try against Fiji. In November 2000, Luger scored a famous last minute match-winning try in an England versus Australia match. Iain Balshaw kicked ahead and he touched down in the corner, with eight minutes of injury time played. During the 2001 British and Irish Lions tour to Australia, Luger scored a hat-trick of tries in the opening match against Western Australia. However, an injury ended his tour, when he fractured a cheekbone in a training accident. A try from him topped the 42,6 Grand Slam victory over Ireland at Lansdowne Road back in April 2003 and he was again on the score sheet in August when he touched down in England's 43,9 humbling of Wales at the Millennium Stadium during the World Cup warm-up matches. He came on as an illegal substitute during the England-Samoa game at the 2003 Rugby World Cup, leading to dispute over whether England should be fined, or perhaps even docked points as a penalty for having sixteen players on the field for a short period of time. He struggled for form during the World Cup in 2003 and has not been selected since for the National side. Luger was also a notable England Sevens player playing at international level for a number of years to 2006.
Charlie Hodgson signed memorabilia
Charles Christopher Hodgson born 12 November 1980 in Halifax, West Yorkshire is an English rugby union footballer. He plays flyhalf for Sale and England. Hodgson was selected for Englands June tour of New Zealand. He was selected at Flyhalf for the 1st test but was subbed early in the second half because of some defensive errors most notably the missed tackle on centrer Ma'a Nonu which lead to a try. He took no further part in the tour. Hodgsons next game for England was against the barbarians on 29th May 2010 however he was substituted in the first half due to a facial injury. Hodgson is included in Johnsons squad to tour Australia in June 2010.
