Liverpool football club was founded in 1892, and traditionally played in red and white but changed to all red in the 1960s. Liverpool quickly became a strong force in English football. Torres started his football career with Atletico Madrid in 1995 playing in there youth team before making it to the professional team in 2001. Since playing for Liverpool for a year and a half Torres has scored 50 goals scoring number 50 on the final day of the 2008-09 season. For making a tremendous impact on Liverpool Torres was chosen as number 50 in The Times list of the 50 greatest Liverpool players. At the end of the season Torres had agreed a new contract with Liverpool and by signing this Liverpool increased his wages to £110,000 a week.
Torres who is meant to have a personal fortune of £14 million is a successful player and husband to Olalla Dominguez Liste.
