Dirk Kuyt born on 22nd July 1980 in the small fishing town of Katwijk aan Zee is a professional Dutch football player who plays for English team Liverpool and also national team Holland. Kuyt plays in the winger position in midfield but can play as forward if needed.
Dirk Kuyt began his professional career in 1998 with FC Utrecht and in his final season here won the Dutch cup and was awarded the Dutch golden shoe winner for the season. After this Kuyt left FC Utrecht and made a move to Feyenoord for €1 million, where he was made captain in 2005. In the 2005 season he was awarded Dutch player of the year. After Kuyt had been with Feyenoord for three years scoring 71 goals and making 101 appearances he made a move to Liverpool for £10 million. He signed for Liverpool on the 18th Auguest 2008 and made his premier league debut on the 26th August 2006 v West Ham. Dirk and his wife Gertrude set up the Dirk Kuyt Foundation to help disadvantaged children in his homeland and the Third World.

Dalglish made his debut in the season opener at Wembley, on the 13 August 1977 against Manchester United. He scored his first goal in his league debut on the 20th August v's Middlesbrough. Later during that season, he scored against Aston Villa in a 5-0 home win, on March 22, 2009. He found the net with a half volley after goalkeeper's Pepe Reina long goal kick.
