Testimonials
Here are a selection of testimonials that reflect some of the people who use our sports memorabilia website.
Dear Mathew Spiers,
I am writing regarding my recent Undefeated Gala Dinner In Aid of Help for Heroes on the 22nd March at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, where over 750 guests attended and watched the likes of The Stereophonics, Joss Stone, Rhydian, The Fron Male Voice Choir and The Band of The Coldstream Guards all provide world class entertainment throughout the evening.
Firstly I would like to thank you for your recent support in helping myself and all my Management team at
Triple S Sports & Entertainment Group Ltd deliver what we believe was a very successful event.
I am delighted to say The Autograph-Store contributed significantly to the success of this event, when I heard from the out-set your company had purchased five tables it gave all the team a great boost to face the challenges ahead of us.
The Silent Auction you provided on the night looked very professional with some outstanding items of Sporting & Entertainment memorabilia being displayed, I was pleased to hear we were able to raise substantial funds via the Autograph-Store’s Silent Auction, for that and the items you so kindly donated for the Interactive auction such as the Premiership Football Tickets, Royal Ascot Ladies Day Tickets, Wimbledon Tickets, FA Cup Final Tickets and finally A Day with the Red Arrows I would truly like to thank you, I am pleased to say all attracted superb bids.
Matthew most companies would have found it hard to equal your efforts to make this event a success so to then also donate major items for the Main Auction such as the Monaco Grand Prix Package & the outstanding 14 Night Package to the World Cup in South Africa was truly magnificent, once again on behalf of myself and everyone at Help for Heroes thank you so much for getting behind the event and helping us all deliver on our promises to help this very worthy charity and those it benefits, the wounded from our Armed Forces.
I am pleased to say we were able to raise £62,000.00 from items donated by The Autograph-Store alone, of which the proceeds will now go towards my overall pledge to raise £500,000.00 for a cause I strongly believe in and hope to do so through a number of exclusive, exciting & physically challenging events.
Please visit Joe Calzaghe official web site on a regular basis for further information regarding my fund raising efforts in aid of Help for Heroes.
Please pass on my sincere gratitude to everyone involved at The Autograph-Store you should all be very proud of your achievement. I wish you as much success as possible in the years ahead and hope we are able to once again work together in the near future.
Very Best regards
Joe Calzaghe CBE, MBE

Re – London Legends Dinner
I would like to thank you on behalf of myself and my company for the wonderful night we all had at your London Legends dinner held at Oakley House, Bromley on the 4th March.
The evening was professionally organised and your staff were a credit to you. The level of memorabilia was of a very high standard as was the presentation of the silent auction.
On behalf of myself and my company we would like to be informed of any up and coming events you may have.
Kind Regards
Anthony Fry CEO
Dear Autographs store team.
On behalf of the members of this association. I would like to thank you for your generosity in donating the raffle at our first ever reunion being held on the 1st May 2010.
All the proceeds from this raffle will be donated to “Combat Stress” Organisation who will wisely use the monies to help serving and ex servicemen deal with the problems of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which is more prevalent than most people can imagine.
Your contribution will help someone rebuild their life after the traumas of military service which has happened to them during the Northern Irelands troubles, The Falklands War, Kosovo and the current war situations.
Combat Stress will need funding for many, many years to come and your kindness in helping us to help them is very much appreciated. Thank you so much.
Yours very sincerely

Thanks for my Wayne Rooney Signed Photo. I was so suprised that you could manage to get it out to me within 3 days in the christmas rush without any extra payment, especially when I only ordered it on the 19th of December. I wish you all a great christmas my boy friend will be over the moon.

Dear Matt
I’m Laura Macrae, 28, from Sittingbourne, Kent and I’m running the London Marathon on 25th April 2010 for the NSPCC, all 26.2 miles of it; I’m aiming to raise £2000 for this very deserving charity.
On Saturday 5th December I hosted a fundraising Christmas variety night in the Carmel Hall in Sittingbourne to raise some contributions. It was a fantastic evening with 120 guests, a live band, a dance troop, a magician, a comedian, 2 solo singers and a huge charity raffle. We raised a whopping £1406!
I approached several local businesses to ask for raffle donations and I’d like to extend special thanks to the Autograph store for donating a £50 gift voucher for a signed photo of a 2009 premiership footballer- this went down very well
We had several (32!) other raffle prizes and had a great evening, but I’d like to compliment Anna Francis and the team at the Sittingbourne shop for being such a pleasure to work with, Anna has been so encouraging throughout the event and provided lots of information re: your silent and public auctions, which, had I more space in the hall I would’ve jumped at the chance. I will most certainly be looking into holding an auction in the future and I’ll come straight to you guys. I’d also like to thank you for advertising in the event programme, a further £25 contribution which I sincerely hope alerts more local people to the shop and your website and gets you some further Christmas trade!
Thank you so much for your time and all of your support it’s so much appreciated and please don’t under estimate the difference this will make to the NSPCC this Christmas.
Kindest regards
Laura Macrae.
Dear Matt,
I am writing to thank you for Autographs-store.com’s involvement at our sporting dinner last week.
Daniel arrived in good time and when the display was set up it looked very impressive. The brochures which you produced were excellent also.
Everyone commented on how professionally your staff conducted themselves there was no pressure selling and they were most helpful with our guests.
As you are aware, I was dubious about whether you would find many buyers as the evening was somewhat low key.
However the items proved very popular and a good number were sold which resulted in the football club receiving a very welcome extra income.
Your attendance at the dinner certainly caused a great deal of interest and i have been asked by guests if you will be coming to future events.
Please pass my thanks on to all concerned and I will be most pleased to recommend you to other colleagues.
Yours sincerely,
Peter Young,
Commercial Manager

Dear Autographs-store Team
The Lions Club of Stowmarket and District held their third Sportsman's Dinner at the Leisure Centre Debenham Suffolk for which we had the privilege of Alan Muller M.B.E as speaker. Usually the Club holds an Auction to raise extra funds but having contacted The Autographs-Store we decided to ask them to arrange a Silent Auction.
What a good idea this proved to be. The Autographs-Store run the Silent Auction very efficiently, illustrated leaflets were placed on all tables and consequently extra funds were raised for the nominated charities. So success breeds success and nobody will be surprised to note that the Autographs-Store has been invited back to our Sportsman's Dinner on 1st October 2010. Many thanks from The Lions Club of Stowmarket and District.
Kind regards
Tony Wass
Dear Anna,
I am writing on behalf of the Contact Nabarro Committee to thank you for supporting our annual Charity ball at Baldwins Omega in Sheffield, 15th May 2010.
The evening was another fantastic success which raised over £11,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Committee is extremely grateful for your support, and the evening would not have been so successful without your generous donation.
Kind regards.
Yours sincerely.
